Tartablu: Protecting Sea Turtles in the La Maddalena Archipelago
- Tartablu is an innovative project aimed at monitoring sea turtle nests on select beaches within the La Maddalena Archipelago National Park. In addition to conservation efforts, this project collaborates with local fishermen to track and reduce bycatch of the Caretta caretta turtle. Marevivo also engages tourists and local communities to raise awareness about the importance of protecting this endangered species. Supported by Deloitte and in collaboration with the National Park, this project is a vital step toward ensuring the survival of these majestic creatures.
